At our peaceful spiritual retreat located near Nashville, Tennessee, men who want to recover from drug and alcohol addiction are guided through the 12 step recovery program of Alcoholics Anonymous. Our experienced guides personally direct each guest through this time proven and universally accepted 12 step program enabling our guests to "discover how to recover" from their life of addiction.

Our program is designed to provide rehabilitation and recovery from the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction. Our guides are grateful recovering addicts and alcoholics themselves. They thoroughly understand the impact of the disease of addiction to drugs and alcohol. Their patient, thoughtful, and personal guidance make the fundamentals of treatment and recovery easy to understand, accept and apply in a man's life. This kind of personalized, one on one, attention is extraordinarily effective.

At Discovery Place we believe strongly in the dignity of the individual. Consequently our 30, 60 and 90-day residential recovery programs are private and highly confidential. Our Continuing Care programs, available to guests and their families at no extra charge, are also small, private and confidential.

Our tracking has shown that this kind of care really works. our most recent data for 2009 and 2010 show recovery rates much higher that those from conventional drug and alcohol treatment centers.
